  3. During recording, the current frame number and the movie size are displayed here. For VR movies, a progress indicator is also displayed, whilst for regular movies, the track time is shown.

  5. QuickTime Movie Selector

  7. Click this button to specify a regular QuickTime movie: in this mode, you can record a movie as you work.

  9. QuickTime VR Selector

  11. Click this button to specify a QuickTime VR object movie. This allows you to record a self-contained, rotatable crystal image.

  13. Compression Settings Button

  15. Click this button to display the compression settings dialog. You can change the way in which movie frames are compressed, e.g., the degree of compression and/or playback quality.

  19. Click this button to begin recording a movie. Remember to check the compression settings first, and to choose either a VR or linear movie!
